Our History

Started as a hobby in late 2024; but mostly began 2025 on making music. Now, its putting in hours into a Four Pillar series this year for Homer's The Iliad, a classic that can be challenging for many. So we want to revive it all. Make it fun, again.

Our Mission

Our Collections

The database is small currently, as it just began April 2026. We will continue to add sites, pages, links as we grow and expand. The tags include consciousness, time, greek mythology for now -- will likely include many more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at storiesofourpastband@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Stories of Our Past was established as a band; however is growing into a library, a catalogue of everything we read and do. It is a living document - this site - of all knowledge we understand and hope to share. Where this goes no one knows, but we hope it becomes a vast network of information that is open source.

We utilize hardcover physical books. Most of them very old. Our "History of Greece" collection is from 1868 while The Iliad is from 1942. Bullion's Caesar is 1854. The Holy Bible is also 1868. History of the World series - 1890. These are the original word. Untainted. We use these ancient books to clear the path for the modern world - to revive what was forgotten and left behind.

Our oldest is HESIOD's THEOGONY -- 1730 (in Latin)
